Darters (ignore cover and obstructions) or Flamers (area of effect). ![]() Ranged units are powerful, especially ones with special characteristics, e.g. If you have 7 units attacking in auto combat, it is often better to split them into 4 and 3, not 6 and 1, because the 1 will get overwhelmed. I'm glad that AoW have such a nice community, helpful and cheering for a game which is a legend. Sometimes adding cast spells in autoresolve helps, sometimes it just a waste of mana which can be handy in next battle/upcoming defence/treasure hunt so - your choice.I played a lot of old AoW for years, my copy of AoW 3 is waiting for me today to pick from store xDxDxDxD so I'm excited to play. ![]() If You try to autoresolve like pike vs cav, or stun/charm vs melee you can be quite dissapointed at the end xD, that one better do yourself or just skip/wait for some countermeasures. And you want to check before auto of AI combination army vs Your's. Other way it suits well with low level tier units vs your mixed army of T1/T2 with medals. ![]() If you have a possible victory and think U can win but sustain some loses all units will be back alive after win battle with 5% hp? It's an option You can choose before game starts in gameplay option menu. Well, as far as I watch and read about the game auto resolve best works with resurgence.
