![]() After clicking Compatibility TAB, look down where it says 'Compatibility mode' there is a check box. Maybe the youtube video by Thge White Collar Players will work for you. Right click on your Fallout launcher, and Fallout.exe (filesize is roughtly 15,000kb or15mb) Make sure to go to Properties on BOTH and check at the top for Compatibility TAB. I also used a mod to get rid of the annoying terminal password mini game. I also got to add quite a few mods to make the graphics for world, body, and face textures better. The 2 adjustments I had to make from The White Collar Players youtube video was to not allow Fallout Mod Manager to connect to NexusMods, and to disable the Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch - Broken Steel. I've had a few crashes in some graphic intensive scenes, but nothing game breaking. Based on everything so far, it should work. I'm in the process of finishing all the locations on the map, and the only DLC I haven't done is Zeta, yet. I'm running Windows 10 on an AMD A10-7700 Radeon R7 3.40GHz and a Radeon RX 560 graphics card, and of course, using the steam version of Fallout 3 GOTY. all other youtube how-to's for installing Fallout 3 did not work for me. Whenever I try running the game, however, I still get a message from the Program Compatibility Assistant saying: This app may not work correctly Fallout 3 Bethesda This app cant run because it causes security or performance issues on Windows. For me, this youtube video instruction by The White Collar Player was the one that worked. So I tried a lot of the advice I was reading in the pinned posts, and managed to get GFWL.
